Hilton Garden Inn Overland Park

I've stayed at this hotel a couple times now and the best part about it is the staff. They are super helpful and kind. Luke helped me get checked in, in the middle of the night. I felt frantic as I had my children with me and a few obstacles on the way. But, he was very helpful which I so appreciated. The rooms are always clean. The entire hotel for that matter. But just a few things I noticed was our extra blanket for the pullout bed had holes in it. The toilet seat seemed to be peeling? Little weird. But other than that everything was great. The location is very convenient but a very busy area. We will be back and I would recommend this hotel any day of the week!

We came to KC for a family weekend and booked this hotel because of location and name. We felt confident with it being a Hilton that it would at minimum be clean and comfortable. The lobby is very well kept but once you get on the floor and in the room is a complete different story. The bedding was strained, the room had an incredibly strong smell of body odor, the halls were stained, carpeting in the room stained, the shower would only run hot if you had the sink running at the same time. We had booked two nights and ended up checking out immediately the morning after. I was told by the front desk that I would be contacted by someone in management and a week oater still haven’t heard from anyone. I don’t like posting bad reviews but for $200+ I would expect a clean environment and better customer service. Disappointed to say the least.

The rooms are really nice for the price and the food was also really good and not to expensive but what makes this hotel stand out as the best I have been to is the staff sense the moment k walked in I was helped more then I ever have been and this staff made me feel like a person and not just some money. I did not have much money for food and such on this trip so when I was going to get something and my card declined I thought I would just need to live without. Instead one of the workers got me want I wanted and sent them to my room I couldn’t thank them enough. This hotel may not be super fancy but the staff make it the best I have ever been to and I highly recommend to come here as you will be treated with respect

Wow what can I say, the room was very comfortable, it could used to be refreshed I saw torn wallpaper and unpainted spots on the ceiling and walls, but the beds were extremely comfortable, the staff was incredibly helpful, the breakfast was fresh and very tasty for the omelet but the other items that were in the hot trays weren't very good. The service and the restaurant was out of this world, there's not enough good I could say about this place it was really really nice.

The lobby was great! The staff and room were terrible! I have used Hilton for awhile now but after staying here will no longer be using Hilton! My room had a locking issue if I was not in it! I could push open my door without my key! I was told by staff it would be fixed while I was at my meeting! I came back 8 hours later to it still not fixed! The staff had changed me rooms but no one had let me know! All of my personal items were left in an unsecured hotel room all day! When I contacted the front desk the staff was extremely rude and did not care that my stuff was unsecured! The staff did not care that no one had contacted me telling me I had a new room since they could not fix the issue! I find this ridiculous that the staff acted like that and don’t feel safe staying there! I don’t recommend anyone staying at Hilton after this! The room had a torn up couch with holes in it! They attempted to cover with pillows but did it poorly! 10/10 don’t recommend! They need new customer friendly staff!
